5.000 Euro reward

Press release: 5.000 Euro reward for exploring the peace- and anti-understanding monument- and place-sign smearers

They have the same handwriting! The still unknown perpetrators, which has been the “site of the Carinthian Unity” in Klagenfurt since autumn last year – already twice the anniversary monument “Common Home Carinthia” in Miklauzhof – and smear the Slovenian name on a dozen place-name signs in southern Carinthia with mostly black paint.

The obvious thrust:

That has been the case for almost two decades – not least thanks to the efforts of the German-Slovenian Carinthian consensus group - to torpedo largely undisturbed, peaceful coexistence between the two population groups in Carinthia!

This acting for the same reasons hostile to understanding, Presumably a tiny group of perpetrators, the extremely harmonious 100-year anniversary of the Carinthian referendum was and is a thorn in the side.

It is now also about Carinthia's international reputation!

The Carinthian Homeland Service requests the competent official authorities in the country, to pay close attention to the rapid investigation of the perpetrators, not only in the interests of maintaining peace in Carinthia, but above all in the interests of our country's international reputation.

The fact, that the Carinthian Homeland Service for information on researching the perpetrators a respectable reward for him 5.000 Euro suspends, is intended to underline the great interest of the Home Service in maintaining peace and in further developing an even more reconciling coexistence.

Call to all German speakers, as well as to all Slovenian-speaking Carinthian compatriots: Let us not be provoked!

Last but not least, we must all be united in dealing with the corona pandemic as quickly as possible!

For the Carinthian Homeland Service
