Am 26. The commemoration of the Carinthian consensus group and the KHD for the victims of National Socialism took place at the Annabichl cemetery.
Afterwards then, in Lischa/Slovenia, the commemoration for them 1945 Carinthians abducted and murdered by the Tito partisans.
The keynote speakers were Marjan Sturm and KHD chairman Andreas Mölzer.
The key message was, that in view of the current return of war to Europe, the common remembrance of the victims is an essential prerequisite for the preservation of peace. According to the motto: Never forget, but forgive and reconcile as a legacy of all innocent victims!
